The Kalos Limen Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve is a cultural center and one of the main attractions in the Chernomorsky District. It was founded in 1997, based on the archaeological monument of local significance — the ancient Greek and Scythian settlement of Kalos Limen that existed from the 4th century BCE to the 2nd century CE. The museum-reserve includes not only the settlement itself but also a necropolis and a local history museum. The museum’s exhibition is dedicated to local lore, exploring the nature, history, and culture of the Chernomorsky District.
