The Kazan Regional Museum of Local Lore Named After V. S. Arzhilovsky opened its doors to its first visitors in 1994. The museum’s founder and first director, Vasily Arzhilovsky, spent many years collecting bit by bit items telling the district’s history that are exhibited permanently.
