In 1917 Serge Eisenstein drew the shock of his uncle the general who died of a heart attack on the day of the nationalization of military loans. The story is a sad one, but the sharp mind of Sergey the caricaturist could not help but notice the historical comedy in the reaction of the rich uncle and in the behavior of the ‘people’s militia.’
