Boguchansky district in Soviet times

Permanent Exhibition
#1

Here they tried to convey the atmosphere of the XX century as much as possible. First of all, the 1927 photopanno catches the eye. The May Day demonstration, children and adults who lived in the post-revolutionary period are looking at us. The atmosphere of the photo with the faces of children conveys the spirit of a difficult time. But a little later, visitors are again offered to raise their heads up. Logs hung overhead like menacing clouds. This is the continuation of the raft, changes, the flow along the river of life. This is the heaviness of the Soviet period, this is oppression, and the pressure exerted on the exiles, this is the work on the timber yards of the main part of the population.

A collection of museum exhibits of the Soviet period has been collected for the photo. The older generation, considering this exposition, remembers with warmth about the bygone period, young people are interested in what kind of objects are displayed in open showcases and what their purpose was. More often with children we try to build parallels, to find analogues of modern things from the past among the exhibits.

The Victory Gallery is located in front of the photopanno.

During the four years of the war, 3,219 people left the Boguchansky district for the front, 1,238 of them did not return. The youngest and most able-bodied left home.

Siberians fought in all active armies and in all branches of the armed forces, participated in all the main battles of the Great Patriotic War: defended Moscow and went to break the blockade of Leningrad, stood to their deaths at the walls of Stalingrad, forced the Dnieper and drove the enemy all the way to Berlin. Siberians showed an example of selfless devotion to their beloved Homeland, a model of courage and bravery.

On May 8, 2019, an event significant for the entire Boguchansky district took place — the portrait Gallery of Victory was opened in a solemn atmosphere for the 75th anniversary of Victory!

A separate hall was allocated in the Central District Library, a lot of work was done to fill it and design it.

Seven portraits of veterans commissioned by the administration of the Boguchasny district were painted by Krasnoyarsk artist Erokhno Rostislav Ivanovich.

The students of the art departments of the art schools of the district together with the teachers drew a series of portraits of our dear veterans — participants of the Great Patriotic War of the Boguchansky district and works that reflect the heroic episodes of the struggle against the Fascist invaders. 45 portraits and 90 paintings and graphic works of students and teachers of art schools of Boguchansky district.

Subsequently, it was decided to move the materials of the Victory Gallery from the central library to the museum, so as not to break the unity of the historical past of the life and way of life of our ancestors with such an important event for history as the Great Patriotic War.

In the hall you can see portraits of Siberian heroes who defended our homeland from the enemy. As well as real objects from the Second World War, which were found in the battlefields by a detachment of schoolchildren from the Boguchansky district, as a result of excavations in the Volgograd region. Here they tried to convey the atmosphere of the XX century as much as possible.
