Gas mask with helmet mask, WWII tube. The helmet-mask consists of a rubber body, eyeglass assemblies with round glasses, a valve box, a connecting tube and a removable tube-corrugation.

The gas mask was an all-rubber mask equipped with a finger-like process and connected by means of a connecting corrugated tube with a filter box. The gas mask was carried in a special bag with two pockets on the sides. One pocket was provided for carrying a waist belt with a carbine, the second one contained an anti-chemical cape in a tin or paper package. The cape was a rectangular piece of tarpaulin impregnated with a special compound.

During the Second World War, the main gas mask used in the Red Army was the BS MT-4 model with a SHM-1 mask and the BS-MO-2 filter adopted in 1941.
